To my many readers (all 10 of you), my apologies for not being more diligent in updating the blog. It’s been a busy but fruitful week as I’ve been working over time on getting my 2006 weddings out the door in preparation for the coming ’07 wedding season. In the process of editing these weddings, I’ve further refined my stylized doc style and I feel I’m closer to the ideal of creating a wedding documentary that looks, feels, and sounds like a major motion picture rather than your run of the mill wedding video. I’ve also discovered some fresh techniques for improving the pacing and structure of my videos so you’ll never have to hit the “next chapter” button ever again. When I get the couples’ blessings, I’ll be glad to share what I mean on this very blog.
I’ve also started the long over due process of updating my Sampler DVD to reflect my new style and outlook toward wedding video. On it, there are trailers, excerpts from several weddings, a Love Story in its entirety, as well as a cool clip or two that defies classification. I’m going back and forth on audio commentary right now. It just depends on if I have enough to say to fill 1 1/2 hours!
It’s going to be an exciting year for Watson Videography and I’d love for you to be part of it. If you haven’t found a great wedding videographer yet, please get in touch with me as Summer dates are booking up fast and the Fall dates are starting to be filled. I’ll take good care of you.

PS: No Wedding Recap or Trailer this week as I got to have a weekend off. Watch this space next week though as I start a run of 3 more weddings in a row.
